Machinery Auctioneers is a locally owned company run by hard-working, enthusiastic people dedicated to providing the entire Southeast United States with heavy machinery, consignment, purchasing, and company liquidations.

They auction, buy and sell all types of machinery, semi trucks, trailers, work vehicles and oilfield equipment.

Final Cut (Objectives)

Television Advertising

  • Secure Airtime for commercials in the applicable area and negotiate the best value for each contract term.
  • Coordinate all internal media and Maverick Studios to produce 30-second advertisement to be played in applicable areas
  • Ensure proper upload via FTP to each station in a timely manner to meet deadline of each station
  • Track activity via website traffic and other methods to track which efforts yield greatest results

Print advertising

  • Place focused and targeted print ads regularly and temporarily in trade publications, magazines, and other print areas that will reach our customers for upcoming auctions.
  • Design and distribute accompanying ad content to applicable sources (always different sized ads per print publication).
  • Seek new opportunities based on regional coverage areas and interest in upcoming auctions.

Telemarketing

  • Formulate call lists for us, and other employees to call leading up to upcoming auctions.
  • Reach out via phone to existing customers and past buyers to get them out to the auctions.

Social Media Marketing

  • Constantly reach new markets and people through the use of demographic data provided by each user when setting up an account with any Social Media outlet.
  • Create engaging content that will create a buzz among our existing network to reach out to new opportunities.
  • Seek out new Social Media Platforms to engage customers in greater frequency, or to reach new customers.
  • Strategically utilize paid marketing on basic platforms to reach hundreds of thousands of new targeted followers based on profiles within the platform.
  • Current Social Media Platforms – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, YouTube, Periscope, Quora, Owler.

Email Marketing

  • Define brand messaging for each email to be sent.
  • Design of RESPONSIVE email via HTML to create an aesthetic look to drive engagement.
  • Distribution and reformatting of email to paid vendors for further targeted distribution (Tradequip, My Little Salesman, Oiltizer, etc.)
  • Tracking of email blast engagement through various platforms to evaluate yield and value.

Search Engine Optimization / Search Engine Marketing

  • We could go really in-depth here, but I will try and keep it simple, though it is not.
  • Pay-Per-Click executing a keyword list while creating ad content to draw specific consumers to the website while analyzing the conversion rate.
  • Directory Submissions monthly to better ranking
  • Coded and direct submission of website to the BIG 3 (Google, Yahoo!, BING)
  • Recoding and changes to website daily which is then resubmitted to the big 3.
  • Working with search engine algorithms to establish the best way to present web coding to make the largest impact when submission process occurs. This constantly changes and must be attended to each day.

Web Development

Use of programming languages to create a completely unique environment that the Search Engine Spiders will latch onto efficiently and effectively, ultimately giving us better organic rankings worldwide. Also, work to keep our website responsive so that it will be viewable and impressive on any type of electronic device.

Website Design

Partnering with development and graphic design, We are able to change the aesthetics of the site reasonably quickly. I do this with the UX/UI (user experience/user interface) in mind. I have also designed it to be really easy to use and be able to segment information to process quickly.

Graphic Design

This touches almost every facet of what we do. Ads, social media posts, emails, website design and other areas require that we edit each file and “clean up” the pictures of labels, decals, stickers, etc on the machinery while creating invigorating engagement through design.

 

Data Analytics/Tracking

We have put some systems in place to ensure that we are tracking our efforts as best we can for the tools we can afford. I am able to track ALL digital usage while compiling reports to see who from each auction is a new buyer on site or online, what they spent, and how they found us. This is invaluable to the forecasting and strategy moving forward. For Digital usage, We can track Who, What, When, Where, and Why.

Content Creation

We are constantly working through graphic design, writing, reading and becoming further informed about our products, the oilfield and construction industry, and our competitors. I use this information to create ENGAGING content to get our networks either on our website, or picking up the phone to call. We constantly on the lookout for new and good content to extend to their clientele.

Brand Awareness

We are always on the lookout for new business opportunities to showcase Machinery Auctioneers. From television ads, digital ads, national print ads, local papers and high school sponsorships to major trade shows. Expanding the brand digitally and traditionally.

Public Relations

For most auctions, and whenever we have newsworthy content, press releases are generated to distribute the information to local, regional, and national news arenas to try and get the newsworthy content syndicated. We also handle incoming calls regarding new advertising opportunities and news stations that contact us to interview.

Sales Support/Lead Tracking

We work in various capacities to support our sales team on the road. This includes but is not limited to:
